My coin
collecting philosophy is to collect only coins that you will be happy
with. (Stay away from coins that are only graded Good as well as problem
coins - those that are bent, have scratches or rim dents). After careful
selection, I hand pick only high quality, accurately graded coins with
great eye appeal for my collection. I've passed up purchasing thousands
of coins because the quality wasn't good enough, or they had problems.
I suggest you do the same.
Most of
my coins for sale are selling at far below market value. For Canadian
coins, prices are based on the most recent issue of Canadian Coin News
Trends. For example, most key date and ICCS-graded coins are 10-15 percent
below CCN Trends. Many other coins will be 15-25 percent below trends.
Foreign coin prices are based on the latest Standard Catalog of World
Coins by Krause and Mishler. Canadian paper money prices are based
on the latest issue of the Charleton Government Paper Money Catalog.
World paper
money prices are based on the latest issues of the Standard Catalog
of World Paper Money, as well as Pick's Specialized Issues
catalog.
I started
collecting coins in the early 1960s. As a boy, my father gave me some
of his extra Canadian small cents and nickels. Of course, he didn't give
me any of the key date coins, such as the 1926 Far 6 nickel or the 1921
silver 5 cents.
Now that
I'm a lot older, I've got so many coins I want to sell some of them. I've
got thousands of coins from all over the world. It doesn't matter what
you collect, I've probably got coins that you will want for your collection.
My web site
is constantly changing, so log-on regularly to see what I've added.
Enjoy.
